This session has gone to the Dogs {McKinney, TX Dog Photography}

Rachele took advantage of a series of special sessions I offered which allowed the session fee to be donated to Dallas Ft Worth Golden Rescue. I have blogged before that I love Goldens and that my best buddy ever was one.

This session was bitter sweet. Her 12 year old golden retriever came into the studio, immediately rolled on her back and said “Hi, my name is Ciena, please pet me”. She was the exact size, color and age as my dog Bo had been the last time I got to see him. I love dogs and was so glad Rachele had made the decision to donate to a good cause and have these wonderful memories of her dogs/kiddos for many years to come.

Ciena was accompanied by Bonnie who made it very plain up front that she did not prefer posing for the camera, especially with those bright lights going off. She was, however, very curious and had to turn around to see what I was doing and each time I was waiting for her with my camera ready.
