1) Interpretation While a traditional painting is greatly influenced by the artist’s interpretation, a Portrait Painting begins with a photographic image as the under painting, insuring the finished portrait will have a true likeness.
2) Investment Because of the time required to create a painting from a blank canvas, an investment in a traditional painting can be large. With today’s technology, a Painted Portrait can be created within a much shorter time frame allowing for a beautiful heirloom painting with a lower investment by Dallas Portrait Artist David Quisenberry. Each painting is still created one stroke at a time then sealed with acrylic for lifetime protection.
Commissions begin at 1500 for head and shoulders.
